Playlist for Life

Playlist for Life Help Point

Playlist for Life is a music and dementia charity trying to reach as many older people as possible and those living with dementia. Libraries and community groups are helping to help bring the power of personal music to help those living dementia by setting up a Playlist for Life Help Point.

A Help Point is a place where people can get information about creating and using a personal playlist to help someone living with dementia. Harbury Village Library is pleased to say that we are now a Playlist for Life Help Point. We have a number of resources available either to use in the library, or take away. Please ask at the library desk for help in finding the resources you need. There is more information, including videos about the programme, on the Playlist for Life website.

We also have books about dementia for you to borrow, including "Where Memories Go" by Sally Magnusson, who set up the Playlist for Life charity after discovering the difference that music can make when caring for her mother, Mamie, who had dementia.
