Local Flood Risk Management Strategy
Warwickshire County Council Local Flood Risk Management Strategy and Consultation Questionnaire now available at Harbury Village Library. The objective of the consultation is described in the WCC Press Statement:
"Warwickshire County Council have released for consultation their Local Flood Risk Management Strategy. As Lead Local Flood Authority, Warwickshire County Council is responsible for managing local flood risk from surface water, groundwater and ordinary watercourses in the county. The consultation, which began on the 9th of January, aims to gather responses from partners and residents on what plans are in place to manage flood risk in Warwickshire. The strategy will form a framework by which communities will have a greater say in how local flood risk issues are managed. The consultation can be accessed on the Ask Warwickshire website, libraries and in our Flood Bus, which will be visiting a number of Warwickshire towns during March. Responses from this consultation will be used to shape the second round of the consultation later in 2015. All responses to this consultation must be received no later than the 25th of March.'
