Harbury Community Library

Harbury Village Library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday.

The library is staffed entirely by volunteers as a Community Library, together with support from Warwickshire County Libraries.


Internet, WiFi, Printing, Copying    Free internet access is available from two computers with printing facilities and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Alternatively you can bring your own laptop or tablet and make use of the free WiFi while enjoying a coffee and slice of cake in Biblio's Cafe.

We also have the ability to make black and white and colour photocopies and laminate both A4 and A3 sheets of paper. 

Blue Label CollectionSince 2012 we have been enhancing the stock of books provided by Warwickshire County Library with our own collection of books, "The Blue Label Collection", which has been built from donations and from purchases using the 'Buy a Book Fund'. The collection gets its name from the fact that every book has a distinctive blue label on the spine. The Harbury Village Library Blue Label Collection now contains around 4,000 items .... more

British Newspaper ArchiveThanks to a grant organised by the Harbury WWI Memorial Trail group we now have access to the British Newspaper Archive (BNA). Only one person at a time can use the system, but it can be accessed from any of the library's computers, or from your own laptop or tablet ... more

Family HistoryANCESTRY is available free from Harbury Village Library computers. ANCESTRY is the UK’s largest online collection of family history records including access to census, birth, marriage and death records, military records, immigration records, parish records, criminal records, the National Probate Calendar and records from USA, Canada, Australia and across Europe ...  more
