If you’ve successfully planted seeds and now have more seedlings than you can handle, we can help. Harbury Seed Share's first Plant & Seedling Share will happen this week.
The plant & seedling share will take place in the car park behind the library and social distancing regulations will be adhered to.
Many thanks to Harbury Guides and Scouts Support (GASS) who have agreed to let us use the Scout Hut to quarantine donations and wash our hands.
Here's how it will work:
  • Donate by dropping your plants off with our volunteers on Wednesday 6th May between 11.30 am and 1 pm
  • Later that evening you'll be able to view an online register of what has been donated and select your seedlings online, the same way you selected your seeds.
  • We will quarantine the plants and seedlings in the Scout Hut for 72 hours, keeping them watered and cared for.
  • At first, we will operate a 'click and collect' service. In future, we hope it will be safe to have a table where people can pop by and browse, but for now it will be collecting orders only
  • We'll send you an email to let you know when your plants are ready for collection
The first seedling donations will be on Wednesday 6th May between 11.30 am and 1 pm, and on Tuesday 12th May between 11.30 am and 1 pm.

The first collections will take place on Saturday 9th May between 11.30 am and 1 pm and on Friday 15th May between 11.30 am and 1 pm.

Please look out for announcements about dates and times for future donations and collections.

Thank you for your kind donations for the seeds. The money raised has gone to Earthworms to support gardening activities at Harbury Primary School.
In order to share support around the village, any donations towards plants and seedlings will go to GASS to help with upkeep of the Scout Hut.
