Ingredients Mix together 5oz SR flour 4oz oats 1 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda Meth0d Melt together (but do NOT boil) 4oz butter or margarine 8oz soft brown sugar 1 tablespoon golden syrup Pour onto dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Form into small balls (walnut-size) and place on greased baking sheet. Press down lightly with fork and bake until brown at about 175C (160 fan) or gas 4. Cool on sheet before removing. |
